Margaret Boyce, WHS President, historian & children’s history author, retired school teacher and principal, was awarded the 2008 Certifica
te of Merit Award for her over 25 years of dedicated service to the preservation of history.
Brian Winter, Whitby Archivist, historian and author was awarded the Conachan Award for his contributions to history.
