A wonderful event enjoyed by all !

the Oshawa-Whitby this Week, Press photographer interviews Piper

The Oshawa/Whitby This Week, Press photographer, Walter Passarelli,
covered the event for the paper.

Everyone was in a festive mood and many compliments were received for the performances. The Committee for this event was Co-Chaired by Vice President, David Chambers and Museum Consultant, Karin Sheppard. They did a magnificent job organizing performers, arranging all the many details, and enlisting help from other museum volunteers. Karin is seen below, with Walter Passarelli discussing a list of important people and events to take place during the evening.

The event was well attended, there were several sing-a-longs, and a ventriloquist act, as well as other performances, listed in the program at left. Below, President, Margaret Boyce laughs with Walter Passarelli as everyone mingled before the concert. Margaret thanked Walter for covering the event and said, "It is always great to have the Whitby -Oshawa This week support in covering events for community endeavors." Everyone was in a convivial birthday mood, celebrating The Queen's birthday.
