By special arrangement, an " Afternoon, Victorian Tea Date" !:30 PM to 4:00 -(sit down event at pretty tables, limited to 20 Per Tea) or arrange for an evening, Cocktail Party, ( no alcohol,) for your group (limited to 30). Great idea for small corporate or group gatherings such as the Red Hat Society or business appreciation events as well as birthday parties. ( Children must be accompanied by adults)

Whitby Historical Society held its ‘40th Anniversary Heritage Ball’ February 29th 2008 …at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club. Despite inclement weather the ballroom was packed and everyone had a great time.

In his speech, the Hon. Jim Abbot stated that, “Each year, the cultural sector contributes over 40 billion dollars to the Canadian economy and employs seven hundred thousand people. More important, thanks to the work of groups like yours all across the country, and the work of Canadian Heritage, all Canadians have access to their culture: by participating in cultural activities, they gain a sense of cultural ownership and help to forge our collective identity.”

Antique displays at the Museum - special welcome for summer tourists and boaters arriving at Whitby Harbour - the museum welcomed approximately 3000 visitors during the 2007 tourist season. Children's Summer Day Camp at the Museum, (3rd week of August ) limited space available. Ages 6 to 10 book early to reserve your child's place. A wonderful cultural enrichment program. Fun, exciting and educational.

Executive meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month, locations TBA.
A fundraising Small Bingo - By 2 Senior Volunteers - Every Sunday NIght 9 pm to 12:30 am. Please Volunteer for this and help us support our museum.
